An ice stadium as well as a beautiful little lake offer the possibility to practise ice skating in the Alta Badia
When temperatures drop in winter and the high located Alta Badia region is covered with fresh snow, also a little lake above the village of La Villa freezes. Lake Sompunt is located at 1,460 m asl and becomes in winter a popular place for ice skaters which can skate and play curling here until late in the evening - skates and curling stones can be rented. On the shores of the lake there's also the Hotel Lech da Sompunt offering a bar and a restaurant.

In Corvara there's a covered ice stadium (see pic) which allows ice skating even in hot summer months. A special alternative for a bad weather day or when temperatures are too high for outdoor activities. A bar offering drinks and snacks as well as a skate rental complete the offer.
